Guidelight offers two structured outpatient programs, designed to work together. Our admissions team can help you understand the options and determine which level of care may meet your needs.
Our Model
Each client’s starting point is based on their individual clinical needs. Most begin in our Integrated Program with PHP and then step down to IOP — while some clients are ready to begin directly in IOP.

Guidelight’s treatment combines therapeutic approaches and clinical support to help each person work toward their individual goals. Our PHP and IOP programs include:

Build skills and connect with others in a structured therapeutic setting
Individual and family therapy
Receive support tailored to individual needs and family involvement
Evidence-based therapies
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), exposure therapy, behavioral activation, mindfulness and expressive therapy
Clinical support
Medication management, medical and nursing support, and discharge planning

We accept most insurance plans and are regularly adding plans to our coverage options. We will work closely with you to verify your benefits, explain coverage details, and assist in creating a plan that aligns with your needs.

Kasey Soucy, LCSW (she/her)
Executive Director Guidelight Worcester
Kasey worked at the Department of Children and Families for 12 years and found her passion to be with adolescents. She also worked at UMass emergency mental health as a crisis clinician and as an individual therapist caring for both adults and adolescents. Her specialty is providing support for individuals, families and youth dealing with anxiety, depression and safety planning.

Matt brings over two decades of clinical and outreach experience in outpatient, hospital, school, and government settings. Guidelight operates in Massachusetts as a mental health services clinic licensed to provide Psychiatric Day Treatment, which is sometimes described by insurers as intensive outpatient programs (“IOP”) or partial hospitalization programs (“PHP”). Guidelight is not currently certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (“CMS”) as an IOP or PHP.
