Denver, CO – (Jan. 14, 2025) – Guidelight, a leader in evidence-based behavioral healthcare, announces the opening of Guidelight Central Park, the company’s first clinic in Denver. Located in the Central Park area, the clinic provides Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs for adults and will expand to adolescent programming (ages 12 to 18) beginning in the spring.
“Guidelight fills a massive gap in mental healthcare providing people with intensive care without an inpatient stay and allowing them to maintain their life while receiving skills-based care,” said Dr. Andy Cruz, Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Guidelight. “Our Central Park team is dedicated to restoring hope and healing by combining leading-edge therapeutic techniques with a deeply empathetic approach. We are committed to working closely with clients, their families, and outpatient providers to deliver results that truly make a difference in their lives.”
Today, Guidelight has one clinic open in Massachusetts, where it provides personalized, evidence-based treatment for conditions like anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, among others. Guidelight’s Central Park clinic, located at 3401 Quebec St., Suite 7200, is the company’s first expansion effort – driven by the need for high-quality, accessible mental health services in Denver.
“We know from a recent Denver Department of Public Health and Environment study that roughly 4 in 10 people who sought behavioral health options were unable to receive them, and Guidelight is filling a tremendous need so fewer people fall through the cracks,” said Breeah Kinsella, CEO of Colorado Providers Association. “Stakeholders can work together to address behavioral health challenges, so all people have equitable opportunities to succeed. As a resident of Denver, I am excited that Guidelight has chosen my community as a place to provide their evidence-based treatment, and as the CEO of COPA, I look forward to representing and supporting them in all of their endeavors.”
Guidelight stands apart from other mental health providers by providing fast access to care and being more widely available to clients. Guidelight works with most insurance – including Medicare and Medicaid – to provide access to care not always available to all Americans. The company also promises to clinically evaluate clients within 24 hours of referral and offer them the chance to begin the program the next business day, if appropriate. This is extremely fast access for higher acuity programs and makes an enormous difference when an individual needs support immediately.
Unlike most behavioral health providers that look at a client’s outcomes following their treatment stay, Guidelight analyzes client-reported data in real time throughout treatment to dynamically incorporate learnings into individualized treatment plans leading to better outcomes. The company is studying its outcomes with two of the nation’s leading universities to ensure clients receive the most effective and impactful treatment.
